Breughel Kamour – 7% Strong White Ale

Further along the same hike as the Geuze beer from Brasserie Breughel in Kamouraska. We tried the strong version of the white wheat ale. Instead of the 4.8%, this is a monster at 7%. So it will be interesting to see how it faired.

Wheat, corridander, dried orange peel (curacao). More powerful smell of citus and darker color than the lighter version.

The taste was very sour at the beginning, almost like a cider. Most likes this version better as more flavor was detected. Something you don’t immediately expect from a wheat beer. So this was really interesting to try out. As usual these are bottle fermented beer. Worth checking out, serve cold.
