Fall is a good time of year to get back into hiking longer distances, but I wanted to look into getting the dog something that he can haul his gear- so I got him a Granite Gear Alpha Dog pack
Along with Fetchtech’s collar & leash system, I think I got his setup pretty much in place. I just need to fill out his pack!
So far after a few shorter hikes (under 10k), I need to look closer at balancing his pack better and making sure he has everything he would need.
My gear list so far, put down your suggestions.
1. one litre of water (500ml each side)
2. first aid kit for dogs
3. large zip lock bag for trash
4. flexible bowl to drink & eat
