Halifax Local Tasting Tours

“Take a bite out of Halifax” is the motto of Emily Forrest’s Local Tasting Tours.

In this video, Emily guides us on a walking tour of the Barrington and Morris Street area, starting from the Seaport Farmers Market, with stops at Crowbar Real Foods, Morris East, Uncommon Grounds, Talay Thai, Chives and a taste of Rum Runners rum cake. It’s a fantastic way to discover some of Halifax’s great eateries, with Emily telling us about the restaurants’ start, or some of the more colourful stories behind some of the dishes.

The tours run 6 days a week at 1:30pm, from mid-June to mid-October and cost only $25. There are also several special tours that coincide with special events happening in the city. Check out the website for more info!
