Short but steep rolling hills up to the top makes this a cardio builder.

Cabin Lake Trail starts on Larry Uteck Boulevard. This suburban trail follows the subdivision property line up to Chain Lake and Crozier Court. A narrow path of medium crushed gravel, this is a cardio builder for those walking or pushing a stroller. It certainly makes a nice change from concrete for dogs. Luckily, benches are sprinkled along the trail for those who want a rest. There’s parking at each end of the trail. Transit User can take bus route 81 to get dropped off at the trailhead.

A trail that traverses suburban development and tranquil Hemlock Ravine Park. After passing many houses you reach Cabin Lake that had a cabin on it for many years. Continue past to a storm water management area go around it and retrace your steps.
