We stopped by Nackawic New Brunswick at the latest craft brewery, located inside a bed & breakfast.
Big Axe Brewery & BB offers growlers and you can find a tap in Fredericton. Today we tried out the Chanterelle Cream Ale. Not a lot of information is posted about the beer, other than being listed by the local liquor board.
Color – straw to gold color.
Aroma– had a sweet corn smell, pleasant.
Mouthfeel – light carbonization, light to medium mouthfeel.
Flavor – an easy drinking beer, perfect for warmer days outside. The locally picked Chanterelle mushrooms do provide a slight earthy taste aferwards, it gives this a little extra character.
