In this video we will look at some of the new features found in the latest version of Garmin Basecamp. Our scenario is simply planning a multi-day camping trip in Maine. So we want to plan out our and specifically plan out the driving.
First let’s start by clicking on the TRIP PLANNER ICON from the ASSISTANT toolbar item.
Select a new trip by specifying a departure & return date.
Select a start & destination location. The search will return items from the map, your collection and now Yelp business locations.
Now that we have our route planned, now time to fill in some of the other driving that we will be doing. Note that we can specify an arrival or departure time, which will affect the times during our day. In our scenario, we can see that we’d have to leave early from camp to reach the trailhead in time.
