In this video, I quickly compare the MAP62s and eTrex 20. If you are an old Legend C user, then the eTrex will be very familiar to you. The interface and menu options is similar, much like on the MAP 62. So getting up and running is pretty easy.
Smaller screen, similar display quality – just a bit chunky in terms of the response times when using the unit, especially when loading a larger custom MAP on the SD slot.
Overall, for under 200$ CDN, it’s not a bad unit to get started with, the USB connector will allow you to transfer waypoints & maps no problem.
