Quick tutorial on how to reset your garmin forerunner 610.Depending on your situation, you have three options to reset.
1. If your device is frozen, you can do the following:
a. HOLD down the power button until the display goes blank. Then hold the button again to turn the unit back on.
2. In order to do a soft reset, this will reset the user settings, but the history won’t get deleted
a. Turn off the device
b. HOLD down the LAP button as you turn on the device using the power button
c. at the prompt, select YES.
3. To do a hard reset, this will delete everything (including history) and restore the unit just like when you took it out of the box.
a. Touch the MENU key and select SETUP | SYSTEM | RESTORE DEFAULTS | YES.
