Quick tutorial on how to perform a master reset on your garmin gpsmap 62. You will need to hold down the enter + page + power button while the unit is off.
Release the power buton once you see the garmin logo during startup. Keep you fingers on enter + page.
If done correctly, you will get a screen asking you to delete all user info. Enter yes/no to process. If you selected yes, then it will delete all tracks, routes, waypoints and restore the settings to the factory defaults. Birdseye imagery does not get deleted nor does any information on your micro SD card.
