Garmin GPSMap 62 – Sight ‘N Go Navigation vs Compass

 

 

Quick tutorial on the sight ‘n go feature found on the
garmin map 62 versus a traditional compass. The goal is to see how both items are used when navigating to an object. With the garmin gpsmap 62, you are relying on the electronic compass.

first, you need to calibrate the compass, afterwards, you use the sight n go menu option from the compass page and lock it in. From that point on, it works as a normal waypoint would.
