Just got my 1BandID in the mail and I wanted to do a quick compare review against my RoadID bracelet. Same idea – stainless steel with etched emergency contact information.
The Road ID has worked well over the years, even use it when hiking or out during search & rescue training. I don’t always carry my wallet with me. However, the odds of forgetting the Road ID was common. However, that’s where the 1BandID comes in.
1BandID has the same tag idea, but instead of wearing another piece on your wrist; you wrap this product around the watch band of your GPS (garmin forerunner) or hear rate monitor (timex, polar, nike+). How often did you forget to bring your watch with you? not very often.
