St Ambroise – 2011 Vintage Ale – Aged 3 Years

We are back for our third review of this beer in three years. We waited another year and dug out another one from the cellar!

With a final bottle waiting, we take another look at this amazing beer to see how it changed from last time.

Nice dark orange or deep caramel color. The aroma moved from a rum cake from last time to something closer to wine. It was really interesting to have the carbonization still be present.

No alcohol burn as this is a 10% ABV beer. As usual, if you do find this beer, grab an extra few and cellar them.
