Garrison Brewing – 3 Fields Harvest

We try the latest edition of Garrison Brewing 3 Fields Harvest, Wet-Hopped strong ale at 6.4%. Freshly picked hops from Nova Scotia farms and added to the kettle within 24 hours. Hops from Meander River Farm, Wysmykal Farm, Ross Farm Museum, Fiddlehop Farms Nice orange color with citrus notes, this is a mellow beer if you were to compare this to an IPA. Not very dry, nice amount of sweetness and carbonization. We didn’t detect any pine notes from the taste sheet, but I personally like the wet hopped as compared to the hop yard ale (dry hopped) as I find there is more flavor and a smoothness. Definitely recommend this if Garrison’s IPA is too much for you.
