We brought back from our trip in Maine, from Baxter Brewing company – Pamola Xtra Pale Ale. Pamola is one of the peaks found at Baxter State park. We hoped this would taste as good as when we were in the backwoods.
Nice sweet pale smell, and easy drinking beer. A well balanced, nicely made, better than average every day beer. Perfect for a warm saturday afternoon. Nice carbonization, it finishes crisps and clean.

Brilliant clarity, bright golden in color. Pamola Pours with a nice creamy head and subtle malt and hop aroma. Crisp, clean, effervescent start with a touch of malt character and a balanced bitterness. Hop flavors linger nicely. Finishes clean, crisp and dry with a light body. Pamola is brewed with pure, soft Maine water from Lake Auburn; three different hop varieties, plus domestic and imported “Character” malts provide complexity, color and body while making use of a clean, well attenuating, top-fermenting American ale yeast. The beer is then cold conditioned for a smooth, clean and crisp flavor. This one is extremely drinkable!
