We taste another beer from this small microbrew from l’Île d’Orléans just up the river from Québec City.
This is a 10% strong ale, which is their seasonal winter beer – Chocolate & Vanilla. This is a DARK beer, tan head, lots of chocolate smells, roasted; kinda reminds me a lot of a good stout. But they don’t call it that officially. I find it more carbonated, but at 10% the alcohol is masked very well. However the vanilla does through at the start, but you get a lot of chocolate tastes. We found that this beer tastes a lot better than the previous review (Maple beer)
